For thousands of years astrology has known that there is a connection between the different sun signs and parts of the body.

One's astrological chart describes his/her unique constitutional makeup. This is the most famous of all Chennai Dargahs and attracts people of all faith from all walks of life.

Mount Road Dargah is very popular. It attracts hundreds of devotees including local celebrities every Thursday. Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi arrived from Baghdad Shareef in the middle of the 17th Century and lived on this site. It is believed that he used to have healing powers. When he died, he was buried next to his house and here his family raised the Dargah Shareef. Since then, people from different religions and not only Muslims do visit this Dargah based on the belief that this Dargah has healing power.

It is the faith in Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi that draws people of all faiths to the Dargah Shareef every Thursday, seeking assurances of good health, answers to their prayers and the blessings of the holy.

You can easily locate this Dargah as it is well located opposite to LIC building in Anna Salai.

There is no doubt a person will become rich if he:

1)     Will to set goals

2)     Intelligent planning to reach the goal

3)     Hard working nature to execute the plan

But these are not enough to become rich. There is one more element that is luck. We can find thousands of people with the above mentioned qualities, yet lagging behind in life. The reason is lack of luck. What is luck? It is the effect of good deeds done previously either in this life or in previous birth.

How can we astrologically judge a person has sufficient luck to become rich? First of all, the person should have potentiality to set goals for himself. This can be judged from Ascendant and Ascendant lord. Next, the person should be intelligent enough to carry out the planning. This can be found from 5th house, and its lord. The place of wealth is 2nd house and its lord is giver of wealth. Finally, whether we gain profits and amass wealth is indicated by 11th house and its lord. For all these things to happen, we need luck. This is adjudged from 9th house and its lord.

So then what are the important astrological combinations which make a man rich?

Relation between Ascendant and 11th lords, either by combination or by aspects. This is called ‘Lakshmi Yoga’ by astrologers, which is a symbol of a rich man.

Relation between 5th and 9th lords. If they are strong and in benefic places the person will be more wealthy.

Relation between 2nd lord and 11th lord by way of aspects or combination. If they are placed in quadrants or trines or in exaltation, the person will be equal to ‘Kubera’, the god of wealth.

Relation between 5th , 9th and 11th lords or bhavas.

Benefics in quadrants and trines, where as malefics in 3-6-11 houses is said to make a person a king.

Ascendant or Ascendant lord is aspected by several benefics.

Some Astrological Tips to obtain wealth:

• One must Daily do "Shree Pooja". Shree pooja is actually the worship of Goddess Lakshmi along with Lord Vishnu and Goddess Sarswati. All three Gods have to be worshipped together.

• Never worship Goddess Lakshmi alone. You should get her picture or idol which has Lord Vishnu also, seated along with Her. Image of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi on "Garuda" is the best one to worship.

• Worshipping or starting Lakshmi Pooja, when Moon is in Rohini Nakshatra is considered very auspicious.

• Lakshmi doesn't like to be there in a house where angry, miser, selfish, lazy and heartless people stay. So, make sure that none of these qualities exist in your house.

• Sometimes, you should (specially the head of the family) clean your house yourself using a broom. Cleaning the western part of your house is considered quite auspicious.

• Don't do Lakshmi Pooja on chaturthi, Navmi and Chaturdashi of a month. Don't give anyone any money either on these days in the Lunar calendar.

• Keep energized Shree Yantra or Kuber Yantra at home.

• Do this mantra as many times as possible: "OM Shreem Om Hreem, Shreem Hreem Kleem Shreem Kleem, Om Vitteshwaraaye Namah".

By June 2012, as Venus leaves the evening sky to enter the morning sky, this brightest of planets will pass right in front of the sun, to stage one of the rarest of predictable astronomical and astrological phenomena: a transit of Venus across the sun’s face. This upcoming transit of Venus will be the last one for the 21st century. It will take place across a period of nearly seven hours on June 5-6, 2012. During the transit, Venus will appear in silhouette as a small, dark dot moving in front of the solar disk. This exceedingly rare astronomical event – a transit of Venus – won’t happen again until December 11, 2117.

The last transit of Venus was June 8, 2004. But don’t be fooled by that proximity in time. Transits of Venus are very rare, plus transits tend to occur in pairs. They occur in a pattern that repeats every 243 years, with pairs of transits eight years apart separated by long gaps of up to 121.5 years. Before 2004, the last pair of transits was in December 1874 and December 1882.

Venus, the second planet outward from the sun and next planet inward from Earth, swings between the Earth and sun (at a point called inferior conjunction) five times every eight years, or one time in every 584 or so days.

Predictions of Venus Transit through the Sun Signs

Venus in Aries: in its detriment, Venus in its detriment means that Venus is just learning and could make mistakes in love, passion and indulgences. The Ancient Rishis divided the 360 degree zodiac into 12 houses of 30 degrees each and further subdivided it into 27 Nakshatras or star-constellations of 13.20 degrees each. These Nakshatras are further subdivided into four quarters each called Pada. The placement of a planet in these divisions and subdivisions was studied to fine tune the predictions.
